This classic farmhouse sits on 13 tranquil acres of waterfront property (Highland Bayou) which is also home to cattle, donkeys and a horse. Nestled conveniently 40 minutes south of Houston and 15 minutes north of Galveston, this is the ultimate getaway.

We resided on this farm for 10 years. Our children spent their earliest years here. We are thrilled to share our slice of heaven with you!

The space
The farmhouse itself is 1,760 square feet. The open interior floorplan makes it feel very spacious and the 3 bedrooms are on the perimeter. Bedroom 1 and 2 have very spacious closets and dresser storage. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with two sinks and a walk-in shower which features double shower-heads. The third bedroom features two bunk beds with full sized mattresses. 4 adults can comfortably sleep in this room. If willing to bunk up, 8 people can fit. The washer and dryer are also featured in this bedroom and it has access to the second bathroom which features a bathtub.

There is abundant deck space on the front and back of the house with many Adirondak chairs for relaxing and taking in the view. There is basically unlimited parking, as you can line the driveway with cars.

Events/parties at this location are allowed for up to 40 people on this rental site. For any event (for example a wedding, family reunion, birthday party) with more than 40 people, event pricing takes effect. Contact host for special event pricing.

Guest access
The entire farmhouse and surrounding property are yours for your stay. The only stipulation is you are not allowed to cross the white fenceline into any animal pastures.

Other things to note
This is a working farm. Please respect the animals and the property and be sure to pick up any trash or debris you’ve generated on the grounds before leaving.
